WELCOME TO THE HOME OF SUSIE THE DUCK!
Come visit this historic small town nestled in the countryside of rolling hills, beautiful pastures and great walking trails. Whether you are visiting us for pleasure or relaxation, you will want to take the time to stroll down our main street and shop for antiques, grab a fresh baked roll or causal lunch, shop for some unique jewelry, or sample gourmet coffee at our downtown coffee roaster.
Visit our pictures section for a wonderful gallery of photos showcasing our surrounding area that is landscaped in breathtaking rock formations such as Gilbaltar Rock, hiking/walking trails on the Ice Age Trail, and then travel out to the Lake Wisconsin and ride one of the last free Ferry’s in the state of Wisconsin, the Colsac III Ferry. If that makes you hungry, stop by one of our many fine restaurants for bite to eat or savor a glass of wine at the new La Gratto wine bar downtown.
To find more exciting events in Lodi we listed all of our events on our calendar for ease in scheduling your visit around one of our popular events – such as our Annual Susie the Duck Day, August 14, 2010, which features a hometown parade followed by numerous events both downtown and in Goeres and Habermann Parks, featuring food, music, crafts and games for all ages.
Other events you’ll want to mark on your travel schedule include, our very own Brew- B-Que, a unique, festival which features local homemade barbeque and home brewing contests. Then in November, we’ll kick off the holiday season downtown with our annual Wine Walk (November 19, 2010) down Main Street and our Christmas by the Creek shopping event, November 20 and 21, 2010.
With so many exciting things going on in Lodi, why not come visit - we’d love to meet you!
